How do I upload a hand history?
-Upon going to the reviewer page, you follow the '
Submit hand history'- link. You then enter a title and a description to be displayed of the hand history file. You also find the file on your hard drive to upload and finally, you have a set of extra choises to pick from:
A selection between the rights:
* Public history: These histories can be viewed and reviewed by anyone registered to TSS site.
* Public history - Restricted reviewing: These histories can be viewed by anyone, but street-by-street commentary requires for you to give selected people rights to do it.
* Private history: These histories are invisible to other users. They can only be viewed and reviewed by the people you grant access to.
Other upload options
* Hide hero identity: In case you wish to conceal your screenname on the site, you can check this one and will be displayed as "Hero" in the uploaded hand history.
* Only show hands where the hero is involved in the pot: Filters out the preflop folded hands where hero's first action was to fold. It's checked as a default, but can be unchecked if you feel that the open folded hands also have some importance.
* Only show showdown hands: This filters out all hands that did not go to showdown. So in case you wish to share only the hands that you went to showdown with from any given history, you check this option.
Besides these options, you can choose to instantly give rights to one group of your choise. Groups are created on the
Manage groups page. This saves you some time if you always have the same people reviewing your histories.
How do I give my friend rights to view and review my history?
First off, there are only one kind of rights in the system and those are review rights. For public hand histories, no review right distribution is required as they are open to everyone who have registered to our site. For restricted hand histories (restricted reviewing) the review rights grant the option to use the street-by-street commenting system, but no review rights are required to view the commentation made by others. For private histories, review rights make them visible to the target users or groups and also allow them to review the history.
To give rights to a user or a group, you go to the '
manage histories' page. On the left side, it shows your current hand history information and below it, the list of given rights. You can choose to add rights to a single person by typing in the username, or a group of your choise. To create groups, go to the
Manage groups page. After you click 'Submit', the requested user or group is added and can now review your hand history.
How do I create groups?
Creating groups is a feature designed to help you manage the rights to your hand histories. From the
Manage groups page, you type in the name of the group you wish to create and click 'submit'. If the group creation was successful, a new group will appear and the member list for it will appear on the right side of the page. You can then add group members individually by typing in their username and clicking submit.
After you've created a group, it will be shown in
Manage histories list and the rights can be added to corresponding hand histories.
How do I review a hand history?
Once you've submitted a hand history, or been given rights to review one, you will see a button entitled "review" next to each street of the hand history you're viewing. Pressing that button will open a textbox and a button entitled 'Save' will appear. Once you type in a review and press 'Save' and the review will be saved to the system and can now be viewed by anyone with enough privileges for that history.
